(That rust color is actually too close to red, so I'll have to use it in a different project.)










And these beauties I picked up at Shelley's Quilted Treasures in Kelseyville. They were in fat quarter bundles, so I didn't catch the names, but I'm excited to start working with them.

It's been tough picking out purples that are, ahem, manly. This is one of the reasons I love making quilts as gifts-- makes me look at a fabric in a whole new way.
